Rise Architects is an award winning, creative architectural design practice based in Berkhamsted and serving the South East of England.
Our projects seek to transform and renew, to enrich and inspire. We work closely with our clients to understand their aspirations and the unique qualities of their project. By using each specific project site as design generator and by the manipulation of light and materials we create places which are grounded and connected.
In November 2017 we were delighted to receive the HAA Architecture Award for Best Domestic Alteration and Refurbishment Project 2017.
Rise Architects was established in Berkhamsted in 2011 by Nicola Few BA(Hons) DipArch RIBA. Nicola has been in private practice for the last 24 years and during this time has designed and delivered numerous residential, commercial and education sector developments.

Nicola studied at the University of Sheffield and Westminster University. She has worked for award winning architects Richard Reid, Hassell- architects and interior designers in Australia, and international practices BDP (Building Design Partnership), and Dyer in the UK before establishing Rise Architects in 2011. Alongside professional practice, Nicola has a passion for inspiring the next generation of architects, she has been a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, School of Architecture since September 2022.
